v1.5.0
New Features and Improvements:
– Responsive Background Grid: A new stage grid helps visualize the spatial scale of the patch, including stage size, dimension changes, and the current zoom level.
– Improved Orb Height Visualization: Orb height is now visually indicated more clearly, making it easier to understand the vertical position of each orb inside the stage.
– Improved Control Layout: Maximum Speed and Force are now placed directly above the canvas, making them easier to reach while performing or adjusting a patch.
– Two-Row Parameter Layout: The parameter section is now split into two clearer rows. The first row contains motion-related controls, while the second row contains the Doppler DSP parameters, output section, and dry/wet controls.
– Input Spread: Added a new Input Spread control that applies small delay offsets across the individual input channels or orbs. This helps decorrelate the signal and creates a wider, more diffuse spatial texture.
– New Multi-Orb Tremolo Module: A new tremolo module has been added, allowing rhythmic volume modulation based on spatial movement.
– Distance-Based Tremolo Range: The Range control defines the area where distance-based tremolo modulation takes place. The outer range represents the minimum value, while the listener position represents the maximum value.
– Tracer Mode and Orb Mode: In Tracer Mode, the tremolo rate is controlled by the distance between the tracer object and the listener. The closer the tracer moves to the listener, the faster the tremolo becomes. In Orb Mode, the tremolo rate is controlled individually for each orb based on its own distance to the listener.
– Per-Orb Rate Offset in Tracer Mode: In Tracer Mode, all orbs can either share the same tremolo rate or use slightly offset rates per orb for a wider and more animated modulation effect.
– Tremolo Curve Control: The Curve parameter changes how distance is mapped to the tremolo rate, allowing linear, exponential, or inverse-style responses.
– Distance-Based Dry/Wet Amount: The tremolo depth or wet amount can also follow the object’s distance, allowing the effect to become stronger or weaker depending on position.
– X-Over Mode in Dry/Wet Output Module: The Dry/Wet and Output module now includes an additional X-Over mode. Everything below the selected crossover frequency remains dry, while everything above it is processed wet.
