您之前使用过的其他合成器截然不同。该插件由 Tetrad 与作曲家兼跨媒体艺术家 Gadi Sassoon 合作开发，采用四个振荡器，将它们组合路由至一个类似伪音序器的 Quad AM 处理器、一个专门定制的粒子器以及四个物理建模的板式谐振器。

Tetrad 的灵感源自 Gadi 的雕塑合成器装置（如专辑《振动模式》中所见），Tetrad 最初设计为对实验装置中斜切板和声音发生器的补充，但后来发展成为一个插件乐器，将装置的功能整合到 DAW 中的单个软件中。

Tetrad is a hybrid instrument based on physical modelling and granular synthesis. A unique quad bus signal chain feeds 4 modelled plates alongside a full modulation matrix, creating a soundscape that rewards experimentation.

Tetrad is like no other synth you’ve ever used. Developed in collaboration with composer and transmedia artist Gadi Sassoon, the plugin takes four oscillators, routes them in combination through a Quad AM processor that works like a pseudo-sequencer, a specifically tailored Granulator, and four physically modelled plate resonators.

Inspired by Gadi’s sculpture-based synth installation, as heard on the album Modes of Vibration, Tetrad was originally devised as a complement to the slashed plates and sound generators of the experimental setup, but has grown into a plugin instrument that puts the capabilities of the installation into a single piece of software in a DAW.
