Harmonic Bridge is a passing-chord tool built for producers and composers. It helps you find musically intelligent chords to place between any two chords in your progression, hear them instantly, and export them to your DAW as MIDI.

Harmonic Bridge v3.0 introduces several new features and improvements designed to assist producers and composers in creating, arranging, and exporting chord progressions.

New Features in v3.0

MIDI Management & Integration
MIDI Import: You can now drag any MIDI file directly onto the visual timeline to import it as a chord sequence.
MIDI Pack Manager: A new manager allows you to index local folders containing MIDI files and easily drag them into your project.
MIDI Drag-to-DAW: The finalized chord progression, including bass tracks and humanized velocities, can be exported as MIDI by dragging a handle directly into your DAW.

Timeline and Arrangement
Visual Timeline: An upgraded arranger allows you to sequence chords, resize blocks, and insert passing chords.
Beat Grid & Snap: Added support for a visual beat and bar grid (toggleable) with selectable snap resolutions (1/4, 1/8, 1/16) for precise resizing.
Bass Layer: A dedicated bass track can be enabled, which is exported as a separate MIDI track (Track 2) with customizable bass notes and octaves.

Performance and Playback
Synchronous Playback: The metronome is “baked” into the chord audio, ensuring that the click and harmony remain perfectly phase-locked with zero inter-channel delay.
Optimized Synthesis: Improvements to the soft synth (including increased buffer size and synchronous pre-rendering of the first chord) have been implemented to prevent audio clicks and latency.

Voicing and Theory
As-Played Voicing Lock: You can capture and pin specific MIDI voicings to any block, bypassing the automatic voicing engine.
Complex Chord Detection: Enhanced capabilities to detect and name complex chords, including various extensions and alterations.

UI and Customization
Global UI Scaling: A new UI scale selector (available in the transport bar) allows you to resize the interface to different percentages (100%, 80%, 50%, 35%).
